"Kulturni Zeko" project of Zavod Burja takes place until 2023

Zavod Burja (Institute Burja) partner organisation of AGSM is implementing their project "Kulturni Zeko" (cultural rabbit), which is financed by the EU Social Fund and the Cultural Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia. "The main goal of the project is to show that culture and art, even in the most critical times, represent an opportunity to create and promote various forms of integration."

"The project will establish a minority cultural - educational process in which we will strengthen self - initiative and entrepreneurship in culture, cultural awareness and expression, digital competences and intercultural competences of minority members. Through engaged activation and educational workshops in the field of digital and film arts, performing arts, minority culture and fine arts, we will take a cultural initiative with a creative motive of environmental protection - a medium that connects every minority and majority society.

Through the educational documentary Minorities Among the Stars, we will show and compare the immigrant stories of three generations of our Bosniak, Croat and Serb members. In addition to the classic trainings, we will create a creative online classroom. We will also produce an innovative product of our education, a promotional showroom 3D virtual reality Minorities ART, which will be filmed with a 360 ° camera. We will perform a creative interaction with the Polaroid camera and build a dialogue with the majority society.

The project will employ two minority members, and at least 50 of them will be additionally trained for the labor market. To this end, we will bring together cross-sectoral minority associations, youth centers, local decision-makers, employers and a range of renowned experts and artists. This will build a network that will contribute to greater employment opportunities and effective social integration of our members in the Celje region and beyond."
