30.04.2024
The Slovenian Community Party (SSk), also a member of FUEN, is running again in the European elections in Italy, this time with Števerjan's mayor Franko Padovan on the list of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP). SSK President Damijan Terpin emphasizes the long-standing and very successful cooperation with the SVP.
The Italian electoral law for the European Parliament provides that the French, German and Slovenian minorities have the opportunity to elect a member of the European Parliament with a lower quorum - 50,000 personal preferences. All other candidates need around 200,000 votes in the Northeast Italy district.
The President of the Slovenian Municipal Party, Damijan Terpin, emphasizes that the cooperation with the South Tyrolean People's Party has a long tradition and is extremely successful.
