The 25th seminar of the FUEN Working Group of Slavic Minorities in Europe (AGSM), which will take place from 17 to 20 November 2022 in Vienna/Beč, Austria, is dedicated to this and other topics.

Terezija Stoisits was unanimously elected as the new chair of the Croatian Center in Vienna/Hrvatski centar u Beču. She succeeds Tibor Jugovits, who held this position for 15 years. Terezija Stoisits has been active in the Croatian center from the start, reports the ORF. The AGSM congratulates and looks forward to being a guest at the 25th Seminar of the Slavic Minorities in Vienna/Beč.

On Thursday, October 27th, 2022, the Slovenian translation of the AGSM brochure, which was made in cooperation between Carinthian Slovenes and Slovenes in Italy by two AGSM member organizations, SSO and NSKS, was presented in Gorizia/Gorica. AGSM coordinator Matic Germovšek Ž. also presented the AGSM film about the Carinthian Slovene minority to the audience.

At the FUEN Congress 2022 in Berlin, co-hosted by the 4 national minorities in Germany, the Assembly of Delegates took place, where the new FUEN Presidium was elected. Angelika Mlinar, Carinthian Slovene and current AGSM Spokesperson was not re-elected.

The 25th Seminar of Slavic Minorities in Europe will take place from 17-20 November 2022 in Vienna/Beč, Austria, in cooperation with the Croatian Centre / Hrvatski centar and the Croatian Cultural Association in Burgenland (HKD). Registration is open for members and guests until 24.10.2022.

At the FUEN Congress 2022 in Berlin, the President of the Macedonian Association "Ilinden"-Tirana, Nikola Gjurgjaj presented the "Ilinden" Certificate of Gratitude to Mr. Matic Germovšek Žnidaršić, the coordinator of the Working Group of Slavic Minorities (AGSM) at the Federal Union of European Nationalities. The Sorbian Gymnasium was founded on 1 September 1947 as the "Sorbian Secondary School" in Bautzen/Budyšin. The opening took place on 8 September 1947. The school building was located at Kurt-Pchalek-Straße 15. On the occasion of today's 75th anniversary of the school's opening, the chairman of the Domowina, Dawid Statnik, was also invited to speak at the commemorative event.
