The registration for the 66th FUEN Congress 2022 in Berlin is open. Under this link you will find all important information about the FUEN Congress, as well as the registration. The congress is organized together with the Minority Council of the four autochthonous minorities and ethnic groups in Germany, including Lusatian Sorbs, members of the AGSM. We are looking forward to a Slavic reunion at the congress!

No less than 9 Slavic men's and 1 women's team took part in the Europeada 2022 in Koroška/ Carinthia. The semi-final in Sele Šajda / Zell-Schaida between Team Koroška and Serbske Mustwo in front of more than 1,000 fans was legendary! Team Koroška/Carinthia women's team wins EUROPEADA 2022 and men take second place. Great successes! Congratulations / čestitke! But the most important is: Europeada 2022 was a celebration of cultures, languages and people!

The Slovenian edition of the AGSM brochure was realized in 2022 in cooperation with two Slovenian members. NSKS - Council of Carinthian Slovenes and SSO - Council of Slovenian Organizations in Italy did the translation and printing, AGSM did the layout and the online version. You can read the brochure online here. Slovenska izdaja brošure AGSM je izšla leta 2022 v sodelovanju z dvema slovenskima članicama. In Italy, by-elections were held on Sunday in about 1000 of the 8000 municipalities. In the municipality of Devin-Nabrežina / Duino-Aurisiana near Trieste, the Slovenian centre-left candidate Igor Gabrovec celebrated - and he first took care of the Slovenian flag, reports the newspaper Primorski dnevnik.

Die 21. außerordentliche Hauptversammlung der Domowina wurde am Freitag, 3. Juni, in der Kunsthalle Lausitz in Cottbus/Chóśebuz erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Sie wurde auf Empfehlung der Mitgliedsvereine und Regionalverbände einberufen. Das einzige Thema war die Änderung der Satzung der Domowina. Die auf der 20. Hauptversammlung im vergangenen Jahr beschlossenen Satzungsänderungen wurden nicht vom Amtsgericht anerkannt. Deshalb hat der Bundesvorstand einen überarbeiteten Entwurf vorgelegt. Dieser beinhaltete die Vorschläge des vergangenen Jahres, die an den erforderlichen Stellen korrigiert wurden.

Sad news reached us today about the death of Prof. Boris Pahor, he was 108 years old. The Trieste literary historian and translator Miran Košuta told Radio Koper that Pahor was one of the foundations of Slovenian and European literature. He called him, among other things, a "cherished" rationalist for his upright dissent, his resistance to all totalitarianism and one-sidedness, for his consistent defence of democracy, freedom, Slovenianism and national equality."
